accolva update 2026.08.25.1512 — Score zoom, and handles you can see

  • Version: 2026.08.25.1512
  • Released: August 25, 2026
  • Contents: 1 addition, 2 changes, 1 fix

Added

  • Score zoom. Step between 50% and 200%: zooming in makes the notation larger and fits fewer bars per line. The level is remembered per device, so the score is the same size next time you open it — it is not part of the song, so nobody else’s screen changes. How far you can zoom in depends on the song: the limit is the point where its densest bar still fits on the page.

Changed

  • The boundaries for the input dock’s height and the side panel’s width now have visible handles. They used to light up only on hover, so there was no way to tell they could be dragged. Arrow keys work too, and double-click still restores the default.
  • Part switching on the song page now uses the same chips as the editor.

Fixed

  • Fixed a bug where two people editing in turn could stop seeing updates and lose the ability to select bars. It came from the bar-level locking added on August 18, and happened when one person held a non-contiguous set of bars.

Notes

  • Zoom does not appear on phones. Handheld screens keep the one-bar-per-line, actual-size view.
  • No change to the save format. Existing songs and share links open as they always did.
  • You can check your current version under “About accolva” in the menu.
