Where does your band’s arrangement actually move forward?
For most bands, the answer is “only inside the rehearsal studio.” The hours you finally get together are spent deciding, explaining, and writing things down instead of playing. Photos of charts and voice memos pile up in the group chat, and nobody knows which one is current.
We built accolva to change that: a browser-based sheet music editor for writing one score together, as a band.
The whole band on one score
You write a band score with vocals, guitar, bass, keys, and drums laid out in parallel. Chords, lyrics, section structure, and repeat marks are all there; guitar and bass get TAB, keys get a grand staff, and drums get one polyphonic line.
Share one link, edit on your own time
Hand over a link and nobody has to be online at the same time — everyone fixes their own part. Saving is per part, so the same song can move forward on different parts at once. A part is locked while someone edits it, and commenting on a bar notifies the other person.
Chords in, demo out
You don’t have to start from a blank page. Put down the chords, pour in a draft for each part, and you have a demo you can play right away: 8 accompaniment styles (Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Ballad, Shuffle, Neo Soul), or start from 14 well-known progressions. Every press deals a different combination, so re-roll as often as you like.
Play it, print it, take it out
The notes on the page are the notes you hear. Check each part with solo and mute, then print to A4 and carry it into the studio — print only the visible parts and you have part sheets. Heading for a DAW? Export MIDI.
